Customizing recommendation settings

You can set the app to automatically process new orders so it can use them to generate product recommendations, filter out random recommendations, or set what happens to the page after the customer adds these product upsells to his cart.

Processing new orders to generate product recommendations

To allow the app to automatically process new orders so it can use them to generate product recommendations, follow these easy steps:

Launch the app and go to General Settings.

In the  Automatic Recommendations section, toggle the switch to the  ON or  OFF position to enable or disable the app's capability on automatic order processing.

Click  Save.

Filtering out random recommendations

All recommendations or product suggestions that appear on your product pages are based on your store's previous order history. Although this is random, you can filter out these recommendations to specify the kind of product you want to upsell. To do this, follow these easy steps:

On the General Settings page, go to the  Random Recommendations section.

Set the slider to the ON position.

You can choose to filter random recommendations based on product type, collection, or vendor. Or if you want the recommendations to be completely random, you can choose "Do not filter random recommendations."

When you are satisfied with your settings, click Save.

Setting the Userflow

After showing the upsell items on your product page, you have the option to set what happens to the page after the customer adds these product upsells to his cart.

On the General Settings page, go to the  Userflow section.

Choose an action after adding the product bundles. You have the option to go to cart or to refresh the page.

When you are satisfied with your settings, click Save.
